Double Exposure Experiments
I've been working on final projects lately so I don't have anything to post for a couple of weeks. I tried out some double exposure today though and some of them turned out pretty cool.

Short Stories
For my drawing class, I had to create a piece based on one of many short stories that we could chose from. I chose ANOTHER PLANET by Phil Gardner:
The craft flew through space at warp speed, its destination: Mars.
Alien experiments had resulted in an army of cyborgs: robotic bodies with organic brains, each hellbent on the destruction of Earth.
Mankind’s salvation lay in the hands of just one man: Captain Ben, the Space Corp’s finest. But
time was running out.
Impatiently, he armed the defensive shields and ordered the crew to fire up the thrusters.
An urgent voice came from below decks.
“Benjy, your bacon and eggs are ready!”
Benjy dropped the paper maché spaceship, swept the robots into the toy box, and ran downstairs for breakfast.
So for my piece, I decided to do it with the top half fantastic and in his imagination and the bottom in reality. I really liked this project.

Color Study
For my drawing class, we had to take something from nature and paint it in four different color schemes; graphic (actual real life colors), desaturated, warm, and cool. I used a flower, top left is cool, top right is graphic, bottom left is warm, and bottom right is desaturated. Overall, a good project to study different colors.
Perspective Collages
For my drawing class, we had to make collages with both our own photos and drawing/painting that created a new area and dealt with perspective. My first collage ended up too surreal and I was unable to use it for the project, but I still think it turned out cool anyway.
My final piece for this assignment was this which I also really liked the end result of. I have one that I was using for planning where I printed the image and just painted with white and sketched in pencil as well.
The final one was done with photos, traditional painting, cloth, and photoshop painting.

Environmental Portraiture
This assignment was for my Lens-based Communication class. We had to take photos of five people in their environment. Essentially, we had to take photos that would show what the subjects that we were photographing were like. The first 5 are my final ones.

Interrupted Landscape Photography
I did this project a while ago- interrupted landscape photography! Basically, I had to take photos of nature that has been interrupted by man. They could either be documentary or creative in that the photographer alters the landscape. I did a few of both so here they are! The first 6 were my final ones.
